April is National Poetry Month! Our newest book display features the work of several U.S. Poet Laureates, including Arthur Sze (2025), Ada Limón (2022), and Joy Harjo (2019), as well as many other incredible collections of poetry. Read on to learn more about some of the books on display this month, and stop by the library anytime to take a look! Also, each week in April, we will feature some lines of a song or a poem. Come test your knowledge on which artist said what! Song lyrics are poetry, after all, and both can be so powerful. (We will share the correct answers at the end of each week.) It's hard to believe it's already March - we're almost halfway through the Spring 2026 semester! Some exciting things are happening at the MGCC Library this month. Read on to learn more. But first, did you know...? Faculty, staff, and students don't need a library card to check out books and materials. Study rooms are available to students on a first-come-first-served basis and  by reservation. Students can print for free  in the library! You can easily search our catalog, access our databases, and learn more about the library's services at the  MGCC Library Guide .
